Threeandfourpence could make a swift return at Goodwood next Wednesday after winning so well at Naas.
Aidan O’Brien is thinking of running the War Front colt in the Qatar Sussex Stakes following his two-and-a-half-length defeat of Theobald in the Golden Ticket Package Race over a mile.
That was Threeandfourpence’s first victory of the season, but he has been set some demanding tasks in races like the Irish 2,000 Guineas and the St James’s Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot.
O’Brien said: “I’m delighted with him. The plan was to come here and give him a little bit of confidence because he’s had a few tough ones (races).
“He’s still in the Sussex and we’ll see after that. He’ll probably get further than a mile, too, but he travelled very well.
“He might go to Goodwood.”
