Lincoln runner-up Lord Glitters will run in either the Royal Hunt Cup or the Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot.
David O’Meara’s grey was a winner at the track on Champions Day and ran a huge race under a big weight on his return at Doncaster.
“He’s on target for Ascot, but I need to have a chat with Geoff (Turnbull, owner) about whether we go for the Queen Anne or the Hunt Cup,” said O’Meara.
“He’ll have top weight in the Hunt Cup, which will be tough, but then the Queen Anne is a Group One.
“He worked on Wednesday and moved really nicely, I was very happy with him.
“We were going to go for a Listed race in May with him, but he was just a little off colour so we gave that a miss.
“The Lincoln form is working out well and we were giving 8lb to Addeybb.”
Suedois will be running in the Queen Anne after pleasing O’Meara on his comeback in the Lockinge when mid-division.
“Suedois ran well in the Lockinge, he’s a horse we’ve had for three years now and who always improves with racing,” he said.
“He’ll go for the Queen Anne and whatever the ground is like it won’t affect him.
“After that we’ll probably look at going out to America again, he won the Shadwell Mile and was fourth at the Breeders’ Cup so he obviously likes it.
“The prize-money is so good why wouldn’t you go with the right horse?”
