Look My Way was a game winner of the first running of a consolation race for the Chester Cup, the 188Bet Chester Plate.
Jason Hart set sail for home before the final turn on John Quinn’s four-year-old after Mixboy and Eye Of The Storm had cut out most of the running.
Look My Way (12-1) responded in style but was all out at the line to hold the fast-finishing Coeur De Lion by a neck.
Mirsaale was a length and three-quarters back in third and Suegioo was fourth.
Sean Quinn, the successful trainer’s son and assistant, said: “He’s a very tough horse and it look like he came off the bridle six furlongs out.
“The longer we’ve had him, the more we’ve got to know him, and Jason rode him to his strengths.
“He’s already done very well for us, and he isn’t exposed over hurdles, so we’ll go back down that route at some point.
“He’s been on the go a while so I imagine we’ll give him a break now.”
