John Gosden opted to bypass Tuesday morning’s Breakfast With The Stars with his leading Investec Oaks contender Lah Ti Dar.
The Dubawi filly, who is unbeaten in two starts this term, was due to have a spin around the Epsom track ahead of the fillies’ Classic on Friday week.
However, Gosden felt there was little to be gained in sending her on the trip from Newmarket during the current spell of warm weather.
Gosden said: “She’s fine, she’s just going out for a canter and she worked nicely on Friday.
“It was just the six hours on the road and a bit of heat coming home, it isn’t something she needed 10 days before the race.
“She’s pleased us in everything she has done and we just felt she was better at home today than on the road.”
