Snowy Winter is back at Gowran Park on Saturday for the Denny Cordell Lavarack & Lanwades Stud Fillies Stakes.

Upper Lambourn trainer Archie Watson has made giant strides this season and Snowy Winter has been one to help put his name on the map.

The daughter of Elusive Quality won over the same course and distance she faces here in a Listed race in August, and now has another crack at a Group Three.

Having finished fifth at this level last time out behind I’m So Fancy, she faces several of those fillies again.

I’m So Fancy’s trainer Jessica Harrington fields two in the shape of Beautiful Morning, who carries a Group Three penalty and finished sixth in the Blandford Stakes last weekend, and Rickrack.

Jim Bolger’s Panstarr has already won a Listed race at Listowel and also ran in the Blandford last week, finishing just behind Beautiful Morning, but she meets her on better terms now.

Aidan O’Brien runs three – Broadway, Erin and Hence – while Joseph O’Brien is represented by Julienne and Ship Of Dreams.

Dermot Weld’s Jaega and the Ger Lyons-trained Espere complete the 11-runner field.
