Up to £50 in bonus funds

Black Corton heads a maximum field of 22 runners for thetote.com Galway Plate.

The Paul Nicholls-trained eight-year-old claimed his 14th career victory in the Oaksey Chase at Sandown on his most recent outing over jumps on the final day of last season at Sandown. He has since finished down the field in the Ascot Stakes at last month’s Royal meeting.

Nicholls, who saddled the last British-trained winner of Wednesday’s 300,000 euro feature in Oslot (2008), also runs Modus – one of five confirmed runners for leading owner JP McManus.

There are two other British raiders in Dan Skelton’s Azzuri and Anthony Honeyball’s Regal Encore.

Gordon Elliott has a strong hand – with ante-post favourite Borice joined by stablemates Mengli Khan, A Toi Phil, Barra and Ravenhill. The Cullentra trainer also has third reserve Mill Quest.

Champion trainer Willie Mullins is represented by Yorkhill, Some Neck and Pravalaguna – while Pylonthepressure is first reserve.

Other contenders include Eddie Harty’s Coney Island, Henry de Bromhead’s Heron Heights and the Enda Bolger-trained Auvergnat.
