The Leinster National meeting will go ahead after Naas passed an inspection.
Following a forecast on Saturday afternoon for ice and snow, a 7.30am inspection was announced.
But before 8am on Sunday, the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board reported no problems for the seven-race card, featuring the Toalsbet Bookmakers Leinster National Handicap Chase as well as a Grade Three novice chase and Listed novice hurdle.
An update on the IHRB’s Twitter feed and website read: “The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board has announced that following an inspection at Naas this morning the course was found to be fit for racing.
“The first of seven races commences at 2.10pm, and the ground is currently yielding (hurdle) and yielding to soft (chase) following 10mm of rain overnight.”
