Trainers are reminded that entries are free for the Mondialiste Leger Legends Race and that they close on Thursday.
Former stars of the saddle expected to take part are six-times champion Flat jockey Kieren Fallon, recently-retired top jump jockey Noel Fehily, Grand National-winning rider Timmy Murphy and Gold Cup hero Andrew Thornton.
The contest over the straight mile at Doncaster on Wednesday is in aid of Jack Berry House and the Northern Racing College.
“We’ve all been working hard to get fit and get in shape,” said Thornton, who is also a trustee of the Injured Jockeys Fund.
“We’re really looking forward to the day. It’s also great prize-money for the quality of horses needed.”
The contest is a 0-70 classified race for three-year-olds and upwards and is worth £10,000.
