Verdict

Having finished a good second behind a subsequent winner on his handicap bow at Uttoxeter, it's difficult to look beyond THORGATH. A 4lb higher mark may prove to be on the lenient side for Tom Lacey's charge and compensation could be imminent. Although Somethingtosomeone hasn't cut much ice since being switched to chasing, better is expected reverting to this discipline. She may serve the most resistance to the selection, ahead of Don't Tell Rosie.

Expert View Verdict

THORGATH is progressing and probably the safest option here. He went close under new tactics (made the running) in similar conditions last time and is likely to try to repeat that strategy here. Getaway With You looks a major player having been in consistently good form before racing alone on the worst ground and disappointing on his latest start. Expect him to bounce back and threaten. Don't Tell Rosie is a bit of a one good, one bad performer and is due a bad one but at her best she's a threat.
