Verdict
CHARASSON doesn't look harshly treated trying handicap company for the first time. The Kodiac filly won her maiden over C&D before diving into a Listed affair at Naas. She was far from disgraced when finishing fifth to Sky Majesty and is still open to improvement on just her fourth career outing. Queen Of Mougins was stakes-placed twice for Ralph Beckett last year and is interesting on her first start for Adrian Murray. Heavenly Power was well beaten on his last visit here, but his three track-and-trip triumphs include this race 12 months ago and he could be each-way value.
Expert View Verdict
HEAVENLY POWER is fancied to follow up on last year's success off a 7lb higher mark. He went too fast in a better race here last time but has less competition up front here. Apache Outlaw disappointed in the Racing League last time but ran well at Galway previously so looks the type to bounce back quickly. He's thrown in on his old AW efforts and won't be inconvenienced by this drop in trip so can fight out the places with Jon Riggens. That rival has been out of form recently but has an excellent course record and has dropped below his last winning mark.
