Verdict

VOICE OF REASON has been a revelation over this trip at Dundalk, winning three times since October. He's a tough sort who knows how to battle once he comes off the bridle in the straight. Crucially, he remains in the same grade that he won his last two races in. Unterberg is a real credit to Laura Hourigan and was a ready winner over an extended 10 furlongs last week, so has to rate a threat. Tyraxes receives a fair bit of weight from Voice Of Reason and is entitled to respect on the back of two runner-up finishes. He is lightly raced and open to more progression. Trishuli River is another eyeing a cheque.

Expert View Verdict

It could be worth taking a chance with BENAVENTE here. He completed a double here at the end of last year and though he's largely been struggling since his last run is worth marking up as he did too much too soon having missed the break. His jockey booking suggests a better run is expected stepped back up to a suitable distance. Satono Chevalier has bounced back to form on his last couple of outings and is on a very dangerous mark judged on his best efforts at this venue. He looks the biggest threat ahead of consistent C&D winner Trishuli River.
