Verdict
It's hard to ignore the claims of LYLE VIEW, who recorded her first career success in ready fashion over an extended 2m4f at Southwell in February of last year. Despite the long absence, Neil Mulholland's mare can defy her 9lb rise to complete a double. Bridge justified favouritism by seven lengths at this venue recently and is bound to go well, despite a 6lb higher mark. Galactic Charm looks best of the rest.
Expert View Verdict
This race could be dominated by the Gary Moore yard which does well here. Top weight Galactic Charm is well treated on his novice form and hinted at a revival last time. He could build on that in first time blinkers but it is stablemate BRIDGE who is the selection. He appreciated the return to a quicker surface last time and a 6lb rise for that win looks lenient so he can continue his excellent course record. Perhaps the most interesting opponent is Lyle View who looked miles ahead of her mark when winning over 2 1/2m last winter. She should have much more to offer for her in form stable debut her fitness must be taken on trust after more than a year off.
