Verdict
A respectable third over C&D most recently, Tommy Dillion is likely to be in the mix, while Calshot Spit is unpredictable but can go well if close to his best. However, slender preference is for FRANK STAMPER, who possibly found his latest run coming too soon after a previous return to form when second at Plumpton. Off an unchanged mark, a repeat of that level could suffice.
Expert View Verdict
TYSON stands out here if turned out quickly. He was the final leg in a huge gamble last week and landed it in emphatic fashion so is expected to defy a 7lb penalty. He remains well treated on his old Irish form and will be suited by the drying ground. The sound surface should also help course specialist Calshot Spit who has failed to get home here over 2 1/2m recently. However he has been eased in the weights to the mark off which both his victories have some. He can provide the biggest challenge ahead of dual purpose performer Frank Stamper who looks well treated on his best form in both codes but has had some serious jumping issues.
