Verdict
FLASH MAN was a cosy winner at Plumpton and then went down fighting with a close second over an extended 2m1f here. Stepping up in trip looks well worth a try and this could be a good opportunity for the progressive four-year-old. Handmedownastar, a point-to-point recruit, has proven stamina and can make this a good test for the selection. Emma Lavelle is represented by Midnight Pass and Grey Gamble, and support in the betting for either would be noteworthy.
