Verdict
This would appear to concern SILENT STRIKE and Kodi Island, with the former fancied to come out on top. The Mehmas colt let favourite-backers down on his debut, but lost little in defeat by finishing second and natural improvement may well be enough. Kodi Island hasn't been seen since his Yarmouth third in July, but that form is strong in the context of this race. Caviar Cowboy also finished third on his racecourse bow and looks booked to fill that spot again.
Expert View Verdict
A good opportunity for KODI ISLAND, who ran a race full of promise when third at Yarmouth on his debut last summer, showing his inexperience but hitting the line well. He's been gelded since and could be the type to make a usful handicappr for the yard. Silent Strike very much shaped as though a stiffer test would suit when runner-up over this trip at Lingfield on debut and he rates the danger, with improvement likely, although Caviar Cowboy shaped well himself over further at Wolverhampton when clearly in need of the experience.
