Verdict
CAFE CON LECHE is a quirky type who has poor recent form but did score in November. Well suited to the forecast heavy ground, all the selection's wins have come at right-handed courses including twice here and, if he returns to his early-season form, he should figure prominently. Capable 12-year-old chaser Embittered won twice last year and while well held in recent races, he could go well, along with Rocky's Howya.
Expert View Verdict
This can to EMBITTERED, who is reverting to hurdles at a lower level and holds strong claims at the weights despite his advancing years. He's versatile ground-wise and is favoured to Cafe Con Leche, who needs to bounce back from a lesser effort when pulled up himself. The drop in grade may help on that score, though. Timmy Tuesday is one to consider also, dropped in grade with blinkers tried. He's formerly useful.
