Verdict

MELISSA HONEY remains a maiden, but she has been running well enough of late to suggest that she can be successful in a race of this nature. South Road scored at Ayr two starts ago and was not disgraced back at that venue last time. On that evidence, she could pose the biggest threat ahead of Law Degree and Our Nicola.

Expert View Verdict

LAW DEGREE was outclassed up in grade last time but drops back to Class 6 from Class 4 and both his wins have come off higher marks than todays mark of 58 so has a big chance here to get his head back in front. Next best Melissa Honey is running into form and with recent efforts franked ought to go well again here, she was running on well over 6f and handled the step back up in trip to 7f last time. South Road can make up the places, she won her penultimate start but stayed on well over 6f last time so is worth another look over 7f.
