Verdict
AMERICAN LAND was unfortunate to bump into a very well-handicapped rival, who has won again since, when second at Chepstow last time. Off the same mark, it would be no surprise to see Joe Tizzard's gelding go one better. Arctic Voyage has to be respected following two impressive wins in novice/maiden hurdles. All of the remainder have claims, but Morning Mayhem is the pick of them.
Expert View Verdict
A tight contest where most of the field can be given a chance. Last year's winner American Land is just 2lb higher this term and has proven consistent in defeat since so is respected but others may have more mileage in their marks. ARCTIC VOYAGE's maiden victory has been boosted by the runner up since and though he didn't beat much last time he still looks well treated returned to handicaps so can complete the hat trick. Dual purpose performer Howth enjoyed a productive summer last term and returns on a fair mark so can also get involved if fit.
