Verdict
Last year's winner GARDEN OASIS bids to repeat the dose off an 8lb lower mark. Picked off late when runner-up at Ripon last time, Tim Easterby's veteran looks certain to launch another strong challenge. Soames Forsyte struck at Nottingham last summer and arrives here on a dangerous mark, whilst similar can be said of Spirit Genie, who now receives an ease in class.
Expert View Verdict
A weak race where GARDEN OASIS is really the only one who arrives in some sort of form. He's now 8lb below his last winning mark and with an easy lead likely he will be tough to peg back. Alessia Fernanda went too fast last time but is now just 2lb higher than when winning on the AW. She may be the main threat ahead of Soames Forsyte. That rival was also successful on the AW earlier in the year but has been let down by slow starts recently.
