Verdict
None of these are overly convincing but VOLEUR DE TERRES seemed to enjoy herself when winning at Leicester and a 7lb penalty might not prevent her from following up, especially if the forecast rain arrives. Only Gossip has a better recent completion record than any of them and she also needs taking seriously as she bids for a first career win under Rules. Lynsey Larue and Arctic Stream are others to monitor in the betting market.
Expert View Verdict
Tough to get away from VOLEUR DE TERRES who pulled off a big upset last time. She had plenty in hand that day on testing ground so a 7lb rise looks lenient with the step back up in trip no issue. Cracker Muddle showed little over hurdles but appeals as the type to do much better over fences now stepped up in distance. He can pose the biggest challenge ahead of Only Gossip who left her debut effort behind when runner up to an in form rival last time.
