Verdict
PRESLEY was sent off favourite on debut at Chepstow last month and, although he could only manage third, Dan Skelton's charge shaped with enough promise to suggest a race of this nature is well within his compass with improvement forthcoming. Midnight Jukebox is a point-to-point winner making his Rules bow for a shrewd yard and joins course fourth Static Charm on the shortlist.
Expert View Verdict
PRESLEY was well fancied for his debut but was given too much to do. He still managed to gain a place that day finishing ahead of a next time out winner and if ridden more positively he could be tough to beat. Though a few of his rivals have shown some promise under rules it is a pair of point winners in Midnight Jukebox and Port And Brandy who look the biggest dangers. The former is marginally preferred having joined a top stable which gets plenty of first time out winners in this discipline.
