Verdict
As is often the case in these types of contest, many of the runners arrive with something to prove. That can't be said for DASH POWER, who has posted a couple of solid efforts at this level of late, with the most recent coming at Newcastle. The previous C&D winner won't need much more to land this and he's preferred to Headshot, who is likely to benefit from a drop in class. Captain Pickles has hit the frame the last twice and is capable of being involved.
Expert View Verdict
DASH POWER hasn't won in a while but his last victory came over C&D in a similar event and he has been running into form of late. The step up in trip is a big positive and he can defeat Headshot who has a good record in similar events. He's fairly treated on these terms on his best autumn form and is entitled to be on the premises. Of those at bigger prices Quick Away makes some minor appeal in first time cheekpieces. She was twice a winner over C&D last spring in similar races and though she has been poor so far since returning from her break this is a weak contest.
