Verdict

Mikhailovich is one to watch on his return to action after 14 months off since winning over fences at Market Rasen, and he could go well off a favourable hurdles mark. MR LE PHILOSOPHE looks a more sensible option after wins here and at Stratford over shorter, though an added 7lb from the handicapper does mean he will need to improve again. Jullou De Grissay is another of interest if the first-time visor helps.

Expert View Verdict

MIKHAILOVICH has a long absence to overcome but his yard can get one ready after a break and he is thrown in on his chase win last time out. He could be up to defying top weight at the expense of Ballynaheer who has been running well over fences of late but is better in this sphere. Captain's Pick was still going well when coming down last time and is on a fair mark if on a going day so can also provide a threat.
