LAMANVER PIPPIN ran a fine race on reappearance at Cheltenham three weeks ago on ground that wasn't quite soft enough for him and is taken to relish this test. The seven-year-old remains on a fair mark despite going up 4lb for that last time, and could find extra improvement for the application of first-time cheekpieces. The C&D scorer is preferred ahead of The Two Amigos, who also relishes a test of stamina and kept on well when third over 3m at Bangor-on-Dee last month. Jepeck is fancied to do better after being pulled up at Sandown four weeks ago, while Bobo Mac has had a wind operation since last witnessed 263 days ago.
