Verdict

APPLECROSS ran as well as could be expected on her seasonal debut in a Grade 2 here back in July, and has been absent again since. That has to be a small concern but if near to her peak, the Richard Baltas-trained filly could simply prove too good. Precious little separated Beguiled and Avenue De France last time and they command attention again.

Verdict

Malibu Prince was a position and a couple of lengths in front of Mongol Altai when they took minor honours over C&D, although he was behind MOST SANDISFACTORY on debut and Doug O'Neill's gelding gets the nod. He has also had the measure of Street Behavior, but that one could still give him most to do.

Verdict

Blame Debbie bids for a four-timer, a feat achieved by Never Be Enough when she accounted for Colonial Creed last time. Orglandes is a force to be reckoned with, but CALIFORNIA KOOK ran with great credit in the Del Mar Oaks and Derby earlier in the year, and was beaten only three lengths at the highest level most recently.
