Well drawn and well weighted, WILD MOOR (9) could have found the perfect opportunity to win a race of this nature. BACCHILIDE (2) is returning to form and is proven over the course and distance so need to be respected. A line needs to be put through the last run of FUCHSIA (4) as she never got into the race from a wide draw. She is better than that. ZEOLAKIS (7) can benefit from a drop in his rating and did show a return to form last time.

EXCALIBUR (1) appears to be back to his best and having proven himself at this course, does stand out as the runner to beat. SADDLE'S CHOSEN CHOICE (3) was out of action since September last year but has put up two excellent runs since his return and could be a threat. BIG BOOTS (4) runs well at this course and jumps from No 1 draw. TWO TWO TWO (8) has good form at this course.

SEEYOUGO (8) is on the up, and after finally picking up a victory last month now looks ready to show what he is made of. LETTYT FIGHT (7) has been supplemented into this race and should be challenging for top honours. The wet going probably got the better of NICK BOUTIQUE (9) last time and he is much better than that run indicates. LORNE (3) looks well handicapped and should fight out the finish.

This looks quite a competitive event and there are some runners that could surprise. LUCAS TREZY (8) seldom runs a bad race and comes in with strong form. GREASE (7) is a proven stayer and with his strong finish should be suited to the long home straight. KENOR (5) lacks consistency but has a winning chance if producing his best form. LANDARYNA (11) will benefit from the return to the turf.

AREV (6) could be the best option in this claiming event. He ran his best race to date when he was second at La Roche-Posay in a Class 3 race last time out late last month and has more to come. He faces a threat in ABRONZAL (3), who is more experienced and ran well when second in a handicap at Clairefontaine on his latest start. YUNA (9) has shown clear talent in maiden races and although she has been a tad disappointing recently she is one to look at each-way. ARVEN GLAZ (2) makes up the shortlist.

DARZAKIR (2) finished his race off strongly when he scored at Clairefontaine on his return from a lengthy absence. He can improve for that success and is given the vote over FARFLIES (9), who stepped up into Group 3 class last time and will be more at home in calmer waters today. CRISZILLA (8) has solid each-way credentials after two placed efforts, and PRINCESS MAITHA (4) looks best of the remainder.

7

TERESA MENDOZA (5) ran well on her latest start at Dusseldorf in a conditions race when she was fourth early last month and she can be too smart for LADY ZAZA (3), who has won twice over hurdles and makes the switch back to the flat. MON SCHATZI (2) is capable of bouncing back to form and warrants respect, as does RUE HELENE (1), who is better than her latest start and can have a say in proceedings.

TIMEA (9) could be the answer to this maiden race which is lacking in depth. She ran well at Saint-Malo on her latest start when third late last month and can get the better of ARABIAN FEVER (5), who has vast experience and has been on the premises in his last three starts, when placed on each of them. ART PIECE (6) has several placed runs and is one to consider each-way. WILLOWER (4) is also worthy of a mention and completes the shortlist.
