Verdict

Juvenile fillies on the poly should be interesting. QUERARISTINYFERARI is knocking on the door and can go close from a good draw over a trip which should suit. ROYAL CREST was only a length behind QUERARISTINYFERARI last time out but has a wide draw to overcome. MEEKSHA made a good debut behind a fair sort and has room for good improvement. SCARLET EMPRESS came from far back on debut. She can improve jumping from gate one and has a 4kg apprentice claim. MISS CHARISMA made a fair debut and can improve.

PUTTHELIGHTSOUT is a juvenile taking on his elders. He showed good promise over 1600m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville and could make the grade. ROYALE JACKET is a long-time maiden but should enjoy this course and distance and could make a successful poly debut from gate one. PRINCESS TRIPPI has the form to be a contender in this line-up. Verdict

CHASING GOLD could still be on the up and can defy the handicapper from a good draw. She has a solid record of two wins and a second from three tries on the poly. RED CHORAL brings some fair Western Cape form into it. She is the one to watch. MISSISSIPPI SPICE is in fine form. CLOUDS CLEARING gave the winner weight and a fright last time. She could confirm. TOMYRIS is holding form. She has yet to win on the poly but it could be a first. Watch out for SHE'S A BOMBER who needed her last run. She could improve. ICE RAIN beat TOMYRIS narrowly last time on the same terms and now has a 2.5kg claimer up so has a big chance, although there is a reversal in draw fortunes.
