Verdict

VELVET SAMI returns to Mahoning on the back of a victory in a similar event at Thistledown (Queena Esther third) and should go well in search of a second success at this venue. It's Springtime had a few of these behind when springing a surprise over C&D last month, but isn't certain to back that improved effort up and it would be no surprise to see Lorettas Song (second) and Charm Of The City (third) turn the tables.
