The further SAXOPHONIC went at Wolverhampton the better he got, and a subsequent 6lb rise for such a commanding victory should prove no barrier to further success for David Simcock's unexposed stayer. Captain Cairney was agonisingly close to completing a hat-trick at Ffos Las and could have more to offer over this longer trip, while the market will likely guide in regards to the handicap newcomer Tinkety Tonk.
CAPTAIN CAIRNEY has been in very good form, winning over 12f here two starts ago before being beaten only a neck over 14f at Ffos Las last time, and a 2lb rise may not stop him going close again now tackling this longer trip. Saxophonic opened his account in decisive fashion when scoring by three and a half lengths at Wolverhampton when stepped up to 14f last time and, with his strong build and breeding suggesting this longer distance will unlock further improvement, he can follow up. Kuredu King was beaten four and a quarter lengths at Chester last time but remains on a competitive mark and, with the return to a longer trip a positive, can bounce back.

Prince Kameo has improved considerably since turning his attention to nurseries, and he merits the utmost respect as he goes in search of a third career win, but AGITATOR is preferred on this occasion. Oliver Cole's gelding broke his duck at Windsor but was out of his depth in the Windsor Castle before finding an equally competitive Glorious Goodwood nursery too hot. There were much more encouraging signs when third at Leicester, and he could find further progress in first-time blinkers. On Target and Absolute Diamond are also noted.
PRINCE KAMEO has been highly progressive since going handicapping over a mile, winning at Thirsk before finishing a close second at Beverley last time, and with his mark unchanged, he can get back to winning ways in his current mood. Absolute Diamond has been in very good form, narrowly denied at Chester last time, and although 2lb higher and stepping up to a mile for the first time, she can remain competitive. Agitator showed more when stepped up in trip and finishing third at Leicester last time and, with first-time blinkers a possible source of further improvement, can build on that effort.

DONTWORRYABOUTME stepped up on his Goodwood debut seventh when switched to the all-weather over C&D last month, finishing a length second after a slow start that may well have cost him the race. If he can get away on level terms he could go one better now, though Fully Stocked is not to be ignored. Third at Lingfield over six furlongs in September, he is bred to be even better over this trip, and could get the better of Ebt's Warrior for the places.
DONTWORRYABOUTME built on his debut promise when runner-up here last time, beaten only a length, and he sets the standard on the balance of form with further improvement still likely to come. Fully Stocked showed more when third at Lingfield and, with that experience of three good starts under his belt, has shown enough to be competitive if progressing again now upped in trip. Maliqui was another improver when runner-up, albeit beaten eight lengths by an easy winner at Haydock last time, but had shown enough and can get closer with further progress.

IMPERIAL BALLET is the unknown quantity here after winning her maiden by three and a half lengths in August last year, and although absent since, the form has worked out well enough with the third, sixth, seventh, ninth, and eleventh all winning since. Her fitness has to be taken on trust but she looks the class act here. Cloud Forest is becoming frustrating with three placed efforts in a row and he may add to those, with Big Money the pick for third at a probably bigger price.
CLOUD FOREST has been highly consistent with three consecutive seconds and, having finished two lengths back at Newbury on handicap debut last time, sets a strong standard despite another drop in trip, with first-time cheekpieces another potential source of improvement as he returns to novice company seeking a first win. Hozam has also been very consistent in his first three starts and, having been beaten only a length at Newcastle last time, should remain competitive. Imperial Ballet looked a very nice prospect when winning by three and a half lengths at Newbury on debut and, although returning from a long absence since last August, has plenty of potential for further improvement for Godolphin, but may needs this.

SOUTH PARADE has been generally consistent, winning by a length and a half at Ayr two starts ago before finishing below market expectations in fifth at Musselburgh last time, although beaten only two and a quarter lengths, and can remain competitive from the same mark. Opal Storm has been in good form, winning at Ayr before acquitting herself well when stepping up in class in a Conditions Stakes, and the return to low handicap company can see her go close despite a 4lb rise. Toptime had been going very well before finishing below form at Leicester last time, having won at Nottingham and placed at Beverley and here, and can bounce back.

Although no match for the winner, Blue Tulip rates as one of the more likely sorts after finishing second over C&D. The three-year-old is expected to be involved in the finish once more, but Wolverhampton winner SHOPAHOLIC looks more progressive. Jack Jones' filly scored with something up her sleeve and may make light work of a 5lb rise in the ratings. Handicap debutant Astrid is the pick of the remainder.
