Following a convincing victory in a handicap at Vichy last time out, MISS PARANO (7) has a strong chance of pulling off a repeat performance. There should be little between BECHO (9), GWENN HA DU (8), and ZOKOA (6) after they finished third, fourth and fifth respectively in their last start at La Teste and they need to be respected in this event.

This is an open affair, but KIRBY (3) comes into this race with the best form and looks ready to pick up the victory. The main threat is likely to come from CHARM KING (6), who is in good form and running consistently well. AMITY (10) is at her best over this trip and that brings her into the reckoning. The start could be make or break for ZODD (5), but if he gets out well and goes to the front, he could prove hard to catch.

JANNY (2) showed promise when finishing third on debut and should progress further from that run. AJOUZ (9) disappointed last time out but she did run well on debut and deserves another chance. TRIXIE (13) is out of a mare who won on debut and then competed at the top level. HILMIYYAH (10) comes from a yard that knows how to get the best out of Arabian horses.

Well-bred debutante BALATOU (11) is out of a well-performed dam who has produced some top runners. Could be the one to beat. ERALA (3) ran on well last time and will be a contender if she sees out the distance. ZEN STORM (5) made a promising debut and progress is expected. LADY FALCON CEN (9) has not been far behind in all of her races and could be a threat.

DAWWAAS (2) has plenty of experience and was a decent fourth in a Group 2 PA race at La Teste on his latest start. He can get the measure of TREASURE ISLAND (4), who ran green on debut at Tarbes late last month and will of improved for that experience. SHEHAB (5) was third in the same race as the latter on his debut at Tarbes and has to be respected with progress anticipated. WATHAB (6) completes the shortlist.

TOMTIT (3) ran with a nice amount of promise when he was fifth on his debut at Deauville in early August and he is preferred ahead of LOUKPAN (4), who is a live danger having shown a good deal of promise when fourth on his debut at Saint-Cloud over 1300m. He should like the step up in distance. SCATY CHOP (1) has been placed on both starts and can once again be involved at the finish. CANNCITY (2) looks the best of the remainder.

7

HALANDJILA AA (1) has strong claims for success after a good effort when fourth at Craon in a competitive event when last seen 10 days ago. Her main rival could be VOIX DE CRISTAL AA (3), who arrives after a win on August 3rd and a pleasing third in mid-August at Pompadour. HORIZON DE TANUES AA (2) could be the most sensible option each way after two placed runs this year. HYDE POMPADOUR AA (6) completes the shortlist.

MARSOUL (2) has been given a break since his latest fourth in June at La Teste and he might have too much for SKY AMBER KRF (3), who is dropping in class after acquitting himself well enough in much stronger races. TABARUS (1) was a decent second on his penultimate start and can be expected to be involved in the finish. CHAKIFA (5) is another worthy of consideration.
