Hard to fault when applied and pleased behind (3) DUCHESSE DE BRION here last month. Goes well over these shorter trips and must be afforded respect
Versatile but disappointing of late and will need to improve on latest effort here
Acquitting herself particularly well since early August. Good third over longer here last time out and should again have a lot to offer
Excellent servant making first appearance in the capital after a host of good runs in the south and with Eric Raffin in charge looks a serious proposition
Returned to winning ways earlier in the month. Likes Vincennes and with A.Barrier at the helm will be afforded every chance
Respectable on a good day but no closer than 4th on either start over the inner track and a minor place chance at best
Occasionally indisciplined but otherwise a fine servant. Backs up a week after a good effort at Laval and should not be far off the mark
Erratic but nevertheless won courageously on penultimate start and does not make the long trip north for reasons of tourism. Claim
Back in business over past month following a dry patch. Should take well to the short course and at this level looks a serious proposition
Modest individual that looks thoroughly outclassed here and chances slim to none
Faithful servant that gave a good account in a Class D over longer here a fortnight ago and will generate more interest this time around
Pleased more than once during the spring but disappointing in last five and must reaffirm
Mixes the good with the less good and unplaced on Vincennes debut a fortnight ago but is no slouch when applied and should not be written off
Useful in both codes but has looked very ordinary of late and unlikely to spring any surprises
Complicated but can trot when applied. Sanctioned in last five but will have her chances if she gets off on the right foot
Not as sharp as she was earlier in the summer. Has never made any impact here and is not about to change her ways
Barefoot just as she was when imposing at Borely late August (8) DOLCE D'EBANE starts wide here but if her handler has opted to send her to Paris she will not be coming home empty-handed. She is unlikely to have it all her own way though considering how well the better positioned (4) DIVA DE GODREL has been acquitting herself over recent weeks. (7) DIANE DU LEVANT has never excelled over this shorter trip but is clearly at her best and can play an important role. (3) DUCHESSE DE BRION has been transformed lately and can again make the frame. (1) DANAE DE CORBERY finished close to her here late last month and can apply the pressure.
Can prove a handful but showed marked improvement in a Class A on the main track late last month. Drops back in category and can bring home the bacon this time
Never closer than 4th in three starts under these conditions but is confirmed at this level and with shoes off for the occasion will not be far off the mark
Very hard to fault since late July. Second in a Class B here three weeks ago and from the 3 spot can again figure prominently
Has not made the frame since imposing over course and distance eleven months ago. Showed improvement behind (3) FRANKLIN DE MESLAY last time but still no more than a minor place chance
Complicated type that has never delivered under these conditions. Is not without merit but others still preferred
Has placed just once on the inner track but presently in excellent shape. Won over this trip on penultimate start and can again go close
Regularly indisciplined but otherwise a fine trotter. Has never failed to deliver on the short course here and looks a decent contender
Solid in three late summer including over the distance but well beaten in last two and must reaffirm
Gives a good account for the most part when unshod but has not been seen out for two months and unlikely to influence the outcome
Not the most courageous horse here. Pleased on only start when barefoot but still not an obvious choice
Can prove a handful but has ability. Disappointing last time though and the draw does nothing to help his cause
After having struggled earlier in the season (1) FRIENDLY BOURBON most recently gave a good account in a tough Class A on the main course and can win this if he runs to the same mark. Raffin will still feel the heat from the reinvigorated (3) FRANKLIN DE MESLAY who trotted an excellent second to the good Faiplay D'Urzy three weeks ago. (6) FYNIO DU POMMEREUX seldom lets the side down and showed his liking for this trip on his penultimate start. Stablemate (2) FAHRENHEIT FLOWER will be fully fit by now and with shoes off this time looks a player.
Blows hot and cold but returned to winning ways at Meslay earlier in the month and looks a respectable outside chance
Quality Swedish raider making first sortie south of Scandinavia. Goes over any trip and with shoes off for the first time may well prove the one to beat
Got the season off to a slow start but currently firing on all cylinders. Won a Class D over track and trip a fortnight ago and from the front line can give this another good go
Seventh in a Class E over course and distance late last month. Tends to go well at this time of year and from the first row can make his presence felt
Dependability not his strong suit but has ample ability and excels under these conditions. Is barefoot for first time this season and can go far
Solid in both starts over course and distance. In the frame in last two and can get a look in
Occasionally indisciplined but has otherwise enjoyed a profitable summer. Unraced for two months though and unlikely to spring any surprises
Quality mare that beat (9) DOUCEUR DU CHENE over course and distance last winter. Just hind shoes off on this occasion and more a minor place prospect this time around
Superb campaigner that seldom disappoints. Second on sole appearance under these conditions and in present shape is a leading contender
Not the most reliable horse here but is confirmed both under these conditions and at a superior level. Will be at peak fitness and has an excellent entry
On a very good run of form since the spring. Takes a dip in class following a solid Gr.3 performance on the main track and even from the second row looks competitive for a small stake
Erratic but has never failed to fire over course and distance. Barefoot for second start back and should not be far off the mark
Considerably better horse in the other branch of the business. Here for a change of scenery and no threat
Delicate but has bags of ability and appreciates Vincennes. Failed to fire here a fortnight ago but Raffin has maintained faith and must be respected
Fine servant that excels when barefoot but is being prepared for winter meeting and not a priority
Quality element but burdened with earnings. Has one race in him since the break and goes unshod behind under conditions he appreciates though. One to note
Regularly seen in better company than this (2) PARTIZAN FACE makes his maiden trip south and going first time barefoot from the front line looks the pick of the field. Ouvrie can nevertheless expect to encounter resistance from the ultra-consistent (9) DOUCEUR DU CHENE who went close on her only start over course and distance. After a trio of re-entry runs (5) DESPERADO races unshod all four under conditions he adores and also looks competitively well in. Winner over track and trip from the second line to secure the double (3) DELMONICA starts in front on this occasion and legitimately vies for the hat-trick. (11) ARON THE BARON incurs the penalty but can still make his presence felt.
Has ample ability but unplaced in both starts here. Will appreciate this more even surface though and can improve on latest effort behind (2) EXPLOIT GEDE
Regularly a case of all or nothing. Beat a number of these last time out and with application can again go close
Fine trotter but has considerably better references in the other code and can be passed over
Useful on a good day and will be fully fit. Shoes off for first time this term and can start to get back in the game
Has hardly stepped a foot out of line over past seven months. Showed his form on the main track last time and looks competitive for a cheque
Sanctioned on only start under these conditions but in the frame in two of last three and will have his supporters
Back at the top of his game since late last month. Has never failed to fire when unshod behind over track and trip and even though stepping up in class can still make his presence felt
Seldom far from the action when applied. Has previously won under these conditions and in present form must be afforded respect
Untried on the inner track but has decent Vincennes references. Barefoot for second start back but no more than a minor place prospect
In fine shape since early July. Is confirmed left handed and can pick up a cheque on Vincennes debut
Fine trotter but has looked ordinary under harness this season. Goes barefoot with E.Raffin in the sulky though and can redeem himself
Fine servant that is hard to knock when applied and barefoot. Imposed on only start with Nivard in the wagon and in present form looks a serious proposition
Erratic type that got back in the game when third over track and trip a fortnight ago. On the back row this time but one to note all the same
Very hard to fault when focused and unshod behind. Won lone start under these conditions and looks a player despite the penalty
Useful on a good day but has failed to make the grade this season and chances limited on first appearance since May
Something of an open event this but it is hard to ignore the in-form (12) EL CONDOR PILLIERE who put on quite the show here last time despite faulting at the start. (2) EXPLOIT GEDE took advantage and headed him that day but may have to play second fiddle on this occasion. (8) ERASME WILLIAMS is consistently in the thick of things when applied and can also finish in the mix. (4) ELEGANT FARCAP is barefoot for the first time since last winter and is expected to get back down to business.
Good consistent colt that pleased on Vincennes debut late August. Unseen since and steps up in class but one to note all the same
Respectable but has never produced the goods at Vincennes and in this company is unlikely to buck the trend
Proven on the short course but has won just once in 24 starts and a minor place chance at best
Good dual discipline type that was oddly below par behind (6) GOLDEN VISAIS here late September. Has had time to freshen up though and can make amends
Classy colt with an impressive strike rate. Flew up on comeback and again looks the one to beat
Very hard to fault when applied. Got back in the winners circle at Reims and can again make the frame
Regularly bites off more than he can chew but has merit. Unseen since early May though and will need the run
Not presently as sharp as he was earlier in the summer when winning over course and distance but gets an Eric Raffin drive here and looks main threat to (5) GU D'HERIPRE
Not the most reliable but goes well on an even surface. Has previously won for his driver and should not be too far off the mark
Sanctioned on his only start under these conditions (5) GU D'HERIPRE is nevertheless a fine trotter in the making. He imposed easily on his Enghien re-entry and looks eminently capable of repeating. (8) GELATI CUT won over course and distance earlier in the summer and benefits from a good entry here. (6) GOLDEN VISAIS seldom lets the side down and his recent Reims victory stands him in good stead. (9) GREAT FATHER is reunited with M.Abrivard for whom he won at Enghien mid-July and can get back in the game.
Untried sort that set off no fireworks in qualification and unlikely to spring any surprises
Qualified modestly before being sanctioned on debut and will have few takers
Lacklustre on debut but has had time to get his house in order and should be able to set the record straight
Decent fourth to (7) HABANERO DE VIETTE at Cabourg but flopped at Enghien next time and needs to find more
Showed a different side to himself at Alencon earlier in the month but in this company will have his work cut out
Can prove a handful but fourth in both starts under these conditions and can play a small role
Quality colt that got off the mark in good order last month. Races first time left handed but can still double his money
Solid in all four starts to date. Third in a Class D over course and distance last time and will have his supporters
Moderate type that did not displease on lone appearance under these conditions and with application can get a look in
Well regarded sort that has twice acquitted himself well and is confirmed under these conditions. Principal threat to (7) HABANERO DE VIETTE
Came in a place behind (10) HOOKER BERRY here last month. Has twice raced decently since and can make the frame this time
(7) HABANERO DE VIETTE opened his account at Cabourg last month when beating the well-regarded Haut Brion and even though going left-handed this time still looks the one to beat. That being said (10) HOOKER BERRY imposed on debut before trotting third over course and distance a fortnight later and will be no pushover. The more experienced (11) HELIUM came in a place behind him that day and has since confirmed in better company on the main track. (3) HOLESHOT raced modestly first time out after having qualified in good order but has since been rested and should logically show improvement.
Has evident ability but as complicated as they come and others easier to back
Imposed under harness first time at Vincennes late September. Sanctioned on ridden debut a fortnight ago but can get in on the action if he stays in stride
Can trot but not the most dependable. A place behind (4) ETINCELLE DELO recently and chances limited
Complicated but got back in the game under these conditions two weeks ago. Steps up in class though and unlikely to influence the result
Gr.1 placed mare that was less effective in a Gr.2 over shorter mid September. Takes a dip in category and will have a lot more to offer
Regularly comes off second best against (7) ELINO BILOU but has previously beaten him. Denied a run behind (8) EMIR DE REBOMARD last time and expected to turn the tables
Classy trotter that imposed in style three weeks ago. Has nothing to prove at this level and looks the pick of the field
Courageous winner on the main track last month after having imposed over course and distance. Unlikely to pull off the hat trick but can still make the frame
An excellent servant in this branch of the business (7) ELINO BILOU recently flew up at Le Croise-Laroche and has every chance of doubling his money. M.Abrivard will still want to be wary of (6) EGAO JENILOU and (8) EMIR DE REBOMARD who were separated by just a head in a similar event on the main track late last month. Fine third in the Gr.1 Prix de President earlier in the summer (5) FLICKA DE BLARY drops back in class following a moderate Gr.2 effort and will be more competitive.
