Laurel Park 16 September 2017
Winner of five races from 5f to 6f. Won on her latest outing when 11-10fav at Timonium over 6f earlier this month, beating Stormy Mama. No reason why she shouldn't confirm that superiority.
She has won three times from 5f to 6f. Third of 7 behind Mettemarlamelva beaten at 13-1 on her latest outing at Timonium over 6f earlier this month. Fought hard but now has two lengths to make up on the reopposing winner.
She has won three times from 6f to 7f. A winner at 5-1 at Laurel Park over 6f on her latest outing in June, beating Brook's On Fire by 6l. A good way behind Miss Swisher before that, though.

She has won three times from 6f to 1m. Third of 8 behind My Adeline beaten 2l at 9-2 on her latest outing at Charles Town over 7f earlier this month. Back at a more suitable level.
Mettemarlamelva accounted for Stormy Mama and Color Me Sexy at Timonium but may have to settle for a supporting role this time behind MISS SWISHER. Since beating Friesan Flyer over track and trip in June, the daughter of Trappe Shot has held her own in decent allowance races and can show her appreciation for having her sights lowered.
A winner at 1m. Beaten 1/2l by Edgy Redhead when second of 9 at 9-4fav on her latest outing at Penn National over 1m (firm) last month. Knocking on the door and it won't be long before she is let in again.

MY GOLDEN ROSE was tapped for toe over an extended 6f at Belmont but, previous to that, she scored emphatically over this course and distance and is taken to bounce back. North Eight Street has been performing with some credit in New York, and Perfect Deal is worth some thought after such a dominant maiden win.
Half-sister to Wave Theory, won at 1m and 1m 1f. A winner at 17-5 at Monmouth Park over 5f (good) on her latest outing last month, beating Just Hattie. Did everything that was asked of her and the extra furlong will pose no problem.

Half-sister to I Use Tohave Money, won five times between 4f and 5f. Successful at 4f and 5f on the all-weather. A winner at 7-1 at Gulfstream over 5f on her latest outing in July, beating Diamonds R Trump. Having her first run for a new stable today and she is a major player.
ROSE TO FAME has joined Michael Matz since backing up her introductory success at Gulfstream when returning to that track for a stakes assignment. This requires more of her but she could well be up to it. Debut winners Proportionality and Mel's Gone Wild both came up short in Graded company next time so Wes Ward's impressive Monmouth victor Light Up The Town is put forward as the chief threat.
Dam unraced. There has been plenty of promise in her workouts.
Dam a lightly raced maiden. No surprise if she needs this.
Full sister to Can't Explain, won three times at 5f and 1m. Best to look elsewhere.
Dam won three times at 4f and 6f. Beaten 9l behind Hercatwillfoolu at 12-1 when last of 8 on her racecourse debut at Timonium over 4f last month. She must leave that a long way behind.
Placed in three of six starts. Finished 3 1/2l behind Raspberry Swirl when sixth of 10 at 16-1 on her latest outing at Laurel Park over 5f (firm) earlier this month. Experience will stand her in good stead.

Half-sister to Prospector's Heart, won three times at 6f and 7f. Beaten 6l by Margie's Money when second of 9 at 17-2 on her racecourse debut at Laurel Park over 5f last month. That just about sets the standard.

ENCHANTED STAR made a debut full of promise when runner-up over course and distance last month, with Jumping Michelle a couple of positions in arrears, and natural progression can see her go one better. Mary Eppler's pair Bay Of Cats and Steamy Hot are two of the more interesting newcomers.

After signing off his European career with a close second in an Italian Group Three, Team Valor switched DREAM MOVER Stateside and he made an immediate impact by storming to victory at Saratoga. He can take the next step up the ladder, although Snowday and the hat-trick seeking Blu Moon Ace won't make it easy for him.

Martini Glass has been rattling the crossbar, including in Grade One company on her penultimate outing, but those performances came on dirt, whereas ON LEAVE is at her most effective on turf and was only just over three lengths behind top mare Lady Eli last time. Light Up Our World, a Listed winner when with Richard Hannon, has acclimatised well and shouldn't be far away.
She has won three times at 5f on good ground. Finished 4l behind Fat Kat when fourth of 7 at 19-2 on her latest outing at Delaware Park over 5f (good) in July. Possibly biting off more than she can chew.

GINGER N RYE fought off Miss Ella to scoop a $100k stakes event at Saratoga and is taken to confirm that superiority. Miss Ella is a major danger again, though, having won a hot race at the same track on her previous outing. Everything Lovely was down the field on that occasion but is better than that and could take a step back in the right direction.

Infinite Wisdom took his game to another level when landing a stakes contest at Saratoga, with Renown among those trailing in his wake. Ghost Bay went down with all guns blazing here last time, but a chance is taken that CANESSAR has settled into life in the US because he was a Listed winner in France as recently as June and didn't disgrace himself in a Group Two most recently.
Winner of seven races from 6f to 7f. Beaten 3 1/2l by Blu Moon Ace when second of 9 at 6-1 on his latest outing at Timonium over 6f last month. No easy task to make up so much ground on the winner.

Blu Moon Ace hammered Struth at Timonium and is a player if running here instead of the 8.10. Awesome Banner occupied the runner-up berth in Grade One company at Saratoga but he was beaten a fair distance and had previously taken third behind WHITMORE at Pimlico. Ron Moquett's sprinter has since made the frame in the True North Stakes and he will take a power of beating here.
