Adrian Keatley enjoyed a fine week at the recent Ayr Western meeting from his relatively small team with three victories culminating in success for Chairmanfourtimes in the Listed Harry Rosebery Stakes and the trainer is looking to strike further gold in the last couple months of the turf season and beyond.
The Malton-based handler is no stranger to success at the highest level, Classic heroine Jet Setting landing the 2016 Irish 1000 Guineas for Keatley and since moving from Ireland to Britain in 2020, he has also added the Group 3 Sirenia Stakes to his CV, courtesy of Symbol Of Strength.
Chairmanfourtimes could well take the step up to that grade in the Cornwallis at Newmarket on October 10 and stablemate Rochfortbridge also harbours similar ambitions.
Keatley said: “It’s been a good season for us and we try to build on every season as we go along. We are looking to build on the quality in the team and we have some nice horses to look forward to.”
Here, Keatley kindly spoke to Tony Elves for attheraces.com about his team.
