Alice Haynes Stable Tour

Warren Hill’s rising star will be well-represented at Royal Ascot with a top team of two-year-olds plus some smart handicappers.

Alice Haynes reached the landmark 50 winners in a season and £450,729 in prize money in 2022 in only her second term training and there would be no bets that target is surpassed this year.

From her base at Cadlands Cottage Stables at the foot of Warren Hill, the upwardly -mobile trainer has already sent out 22 winners this season and a squad of two-year-olds that will ensure that the Royal Ascot wardrobe will be made ready.

Top billing may well go to Maximum Impact who scored by 12 lengths on his debut at Leicester in April before bagging his Royal Ascot place with a two and a quarter length victory from the well-regarded Action Point in a conditions event on the Ascot slopes on Trials Day.

There will plenty of able backing with Hala Emaraaty confirming his inclusion with a solid second success in a novice event at Redcar on Monday and Golden Arrow, Majestic Beauty and Shayekh completing the juvenile team.

Great Max could well appear in the Royal Hunt Cup, and it looks yet another busy week for the workaholic Newmarket trainer.

Alice kindly talked to Tony Elves of attheraces.com about her hopes for the Royal Ascot, live on Sky Sports Racing in June, and other likely sorts for the season ahead.
