Donald McCain Stable Tour

Some interesting recruits from the Irish point-to-point field has Donald McCain looking forward to the newcomers joining his established stars to continue filling the stable's coffers.

DONALD McCAIN’s may have no immediately recognised superstar this time around but the signs are very encouraging at Bankhouse Stable in Cholmondley, Cheshire with 45 winners and nearly £400,000 in prize money amassed so far in the 2019-20 Jumps season.

The ever reliable Chti Balko made another contribution to McCain’s tally when winning at Bangor recently and heavy ground could well see him make further gains but the possible star of the future could well be Minella Trump who made it two out over two over hurdles when scoring impressively at Sedgefield on Friday.

The stable has recently acquired the likeable Blakeney Point who could well be buoyed up after a change of scenery and the prospect of jumping hurdles and there have already been some waves made by Goobinator and Navajo Pass in the Juvenile Hurdling division.

With a busy period in front of him, Donald kindly spoke to Tony Elves of ATR about his main prospects for the season.
