The famous maroon and white silks of Gigginstown House Stud are now synonymous with National Hunt racing, especially in Ireland. Ventures over the Irish Sea are commonplace in March however, as Michael O’Leary and his brother Eddie bid to plunder jump racing’s biggest prizes at horse racing’s greatest meeting, the Cheltenham Festival.
Employing top Irish trainers like Henry de Bromhead, Noel Meade and Joseph O’Brien, with Denise Foster now handling their Cullentra House string, Gigginstown will take positives from most of their trainers who handle the best of their stock heading to Prestbury Park in sound form.
With just five days to go to the 2021 Cheltenham Festival, Gigginstown racing manager Eddie O’Leary spoke to Declan Rix for attheraces.com about the team.
