He ran really well in the Scottish Stewards Cup recently, a race he won 12 months ago. The ground would have been too lively for him this time around and I haven’t made a plan for him yet but going forward the big six-furlong sprints like the Ayr Gold Cup will come on the radar although it may be the Silver Cup that he gets into. The ground is crucial to him and as he needs it soft.

He is a having a delayed start to his Flat campaign, but he should be ready to run at the end of August and then he will keep racing through. I think a stiff mile is optimum and we think he just about stayed ten furlongs in what was very soft ground but mile suits him better.

He is running really well, and things didn’t pan out as we might have expected at Beverley last time. We had a really good draw and got sucked into the trap of making too much use of him from his one draw. He is a proper hold up horse and, hopefully, he can be seen to good effect soon.

He is declared at Ripon on Friday in a mile and a half race. He is up in his grade, but his handicap mark has risen and that was inevitable. He is performing really well and at some point we might try dropping him back to a mile and a quarter - partly on the suggestion of his jockey Jack Garritty – but he is having a good time of it at the moment.

He came to us and was quite unsettled in lots of way and it’s taken us awhile to relax him. He won nicely in what wasn’t the greatest contest at Ripon, but he made the running and hopefully we have got him settled and enjoying life. He has gone up to 55 which was quite hard on him.

She went home for a holiday when the lockdown started and as she is likely to be a dual-purpose horse there was no rush with her. She is back in cantering and she will be ready in six to eight weeks. Hopefully, she can win on the Flat and then go juvenile hurdling after that.

So far we have been slightly disappointed with what we have seen from her on the frank, but I have lost no faith in her at all. She is a full sister to Theatro she could go to Pontefract on July 31 for a mile and a half handicap. She will get further in due course and I think she has a nice race in her. I don’t think the penny has dropped with her yet.
