Trainer says

We think we will probably look at the Morebattle Hurdle at Kelso in March. He ran well in the Welsh Champion Hurdle and ran well at Newbury as well. I would say he’s more a two to two and half miler but wouldn’t want the depths of Winter ground. We have kept him fresh for the Spring and, hopefully, he will have a nice campaign then.

Trainer says

He had a slight setback after he won at Cheltenham but he is on his way back now. We will probably stick to slightly calmer waters next time. His jumping was good at Cheltenham the last day when he won but it has been an issue so we would just like to keep his confidence up and there is a race at Newbury after Cheltenham on March 22 - a three-mile chase. That might be a nice place for him to start back.

He won a Pertemps Qualifier at Huntingdon well and he will go straight for the final at Cheltenham.

Winner of his point-to-point in Ireland in February of last year and made a winning debut for the stable when beating Clap Of Thunder four and a quarter lengths in a bumper at Warwick in January.

He will be a really nice horse next year over staying trips over hurdles. He won his bumper nicely at Warwick and he will probably go to Exeter on February 23 for another bumper.

He has not run yet but he is a nice horse and he was growing a lot in the Autumn so we left him to come right for the Spring. He is probably a month to six weeks away and we will start him off in a bumper.

He ran well in his first two races and didn’t disgrace himself at Cheltenham next time but was very disappointing at Lingfield. We have kept him fresh for the Spring and he will be out when the ground tightens up a bit. Hopefully, he is workable off his mark if he returns to his form of earlier in the season.

He was unlucky when he tipped up three out at Chepstow and he will probably be out at Ffos Las on Friday in a maiden hurdle.

He won nicely at Bangor the last time and will probably be going into handicaps now. He is probably a few weeks off a run but he is a good strong stayer.

Trainer says

He had a really good year last year and was just touched off in the Grade 2 at Haydock. He has been a bit disappointing this time but he does jump well. I definitely see him as a chaser but he had a hard season last year and maybe it's taken its toll a little bit. He will be dropped back to hurdles for his next run and he will go in the Pertemps Qualifier at Chepstow in a few weeks. Not necessarily to qualify for the Pertemps but the race looks right for him and he has good form around there.

He is a nice horse we bought at the Coral Gold Cup meeting and he is nearly ready to go. He should be out in a bumper in a couple of weeks.

It was nice to get him back at Exeter on Sunday. I thought he was going well at Cheltenham the first day and he tipped up and it was too early in the race to know. Ginny’s Destiny has franked the form well and he didn’t jump as well the time before last and he lacked a bit of confidence. Sunday, was perfect and he jumped a lot better. Maybe the race fell in his lap a little bit but it was a competitive race and we were happy with that.

He won well at Newbury but we thought it was a very moderate race. The second was tailed off at Huntingdon the next time and I think the race was very poor. He ran ok at Wetherby but I see him more as a staying chaser for next year.

Never really figured under a double penalty at Newbury (2m 1/2f) on Saturday when seventh, beaten 13 lengths, to Making Headway.

Trainer says

He didn’t jump well at Newbury and probably the drop back to two miles wasn’t ideal. He was probably wrong at the weights and Making Headway was 129 and we were giving 4lb. He was beaten 13 lengths so, technically, we were where we should have been. We will probably step him back up to two and a half next time.

Winner of five of her 11 starts and currently rated 123 over hurdles. Returned to winning form in a mares’ handicap hurdle at Market Rasen (2m 1/2f) in January when scoring by seven and a half lengths from Autumn Return off a mark of 114.

Trainer says

We were scratching our heads but she got her act together at Market Rasen. She is as a result qualified for the Haydock Series Finals and that might be something to look at.

A winner twice this season in handicap chases at Newbury and gained his last success there over two miles and six and half furlongs in December when beating Lord Baddesley a length and a quarter off a mark of 130. Highly creditable effort at Cheltenham on New Year’s Day when runner-up, beaten five lengths to Stumptown but below par on his return to Newbury (2m 7 1/2f) on Saturday when fourth, beaten 57 lengths, to Makin’yourmindup.

Trainer says

He has had a very good season so far but was very disappointing at Newbury. We have to stick a line through that and find out went wrong as he has been progressing nicely.

Winner of five of his 10 starts and currently rated 140 over fences. Finished runner-up, beaten 34 lengths, to Nassalam in the Grade 3 Coral Welsh National at Chepstow (3m 6 1/2f) in December off a mark of 142.

Trainer says

He was second in the Welsh National and ran well. He is a horse for those types of races and is a bit low for the Grand National but he will be put in at Ascot and Haydock this weekend. If he doesn’t get in the Grand National then the Midlands National would be his race.

He has run well all year and ran well in the Challow after having one run. The heavy ground just found him out a little bit but he stayed on nicely. He looks like a horse that wants three miles now. He has the potential to shape up into an Albert Bartlett type of horse.

He had a busy campaign through the Summer and, probably, is a bit better than a Summer horse but does really like nice ground. We were happy with his run at Cheltenham when he was second in the qualifier for the Pertemps and he might have been feeling the effects of a busy campaign. We were happy enough with him comeback run at Newbury on ground that probably didn’t suit. He might be one for the Stayers’ Series at Haydock or something like that.

He is probably unlucky not to have won a bumper and has been knocking on the door all three times. He will go over hurdles now and will get two and a half but it’s a question of whether we start over two miles.

She will probably run on Sunday or next Tuesday. She ran at Plumpton on her debut and a galloping track and the experience of Plumpton will have done her good. You would be hoping she would be knocking on the door in her next run.

He won his first two races at Hereford well. I’m not sure of the form of the race and may have got a high mark for what he achieved. He disappointed at Ascot but a few issues came up and he will probably want some Spring ground.

She won nicely at Carlisle and took a little while to get over that race. She is just coming back and if we can get a few runs into her we might look into something like the Mares races at Cheltenham in April.

He is in good form and we always felt that after the Coral Gold Cup we would give him a chance as he wasn’t going to make the Welsh National and the Classic Chase. We will probably wait for the beginning of March - there is something like the Premier Chase at Kelso or we could go back for the Ultima but the National is his plan.

He is a nice horse and he has done well in his first two races despite still being green. He will make a very interesting three-mile chaser next year so what he is doing at the minute is probably a bonus and he is doing it well. I think we might go for a Grade 2 three-mile novice at Haydock on Saturday and there is also a 0-125 at Ascot. We will see what happens and make our mind up and decide whether he can shape up to be an Albert Bartlett type horse.

He was supposed to go over fences and run in novice chases at Leicester and it got called off and there weren’t any novice chases around for him but he needed another run over hurdles to qualifier for a handicap mark. He didn’t have a lot of experience and we decided to go over hurdles and it worked out well. He won a good race at Sandown and he will probably go for a three-mile £100,000 handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter on Midlands National Day. He could still be off a workable mark.

He has been a good horse in his day but he has struggled recently. He has shown glimpses of form throughout the year but he wants real top of the ground. We have saved him for the Spring and he might get an entry at Ascot at the weekend to see where we are going again with him. He is starting to come down to a workable mare again and, hopefully, he can regather a bit of form.

He has shown good form this year and won at Worcester and his form at Ascot was very good. I don’t think that was his run at Sandown the last time. We don’t know what we will do with him for the rest of the season but we haven’t lost any faith in him. Whether we go for any of the fancy bumpers we will see but we do like him a lot for next year.

He was unlucky not to win two bumpers at Catterick - I think he ran well the last day and probably did a lot of the hard work in front and just got nabbed late on. He galloped right to the line and we may crack on over hurdles with him now. You would hope he could pick up a couple of novices’ before the end of the season.

He showed some good form and I thought he ran well over three miles at Cheltenham. We will put him in the Pertemps Qualifier at Haydock on Saturday and also there is a 0-125 at Ascot as well. He is in a similar mould to Mt Fugi Park where he wants to go over fences now but we will wait.
