Trainer says

We bought her from the Cheltenham Sale and she wasn’t over expensive and good value. She won a point in Ireland and she has been pleasing me at home. She will either run in a maiden hurdle or a bumper shortly.

Finished a creditable third to Does He Know in the Jewson Handicap Chase at Cheltenham (3m 3½f) in November off his current mark and confirmed his liking for the Cheltenham Cross-Country course (3m 6f) when beating Deise Aba three quarters of a length in January off a mark of 137.

Trainer says

He is in really good form and came out of his Cheltenham win really well. He is all set for the Cross-Country race at the Festival. The weather is a bit unsettled which is frustrating and he would have to improve again as its level weights but he seems to improve with every run around there and if he gets good ground I would say he goes there with a good live chance. We are just going to school him at home and there is no real need for him to go beforehand as he has plenty experience of the course and I am really happy with him.

A 95-rated chaser. Pulled up in a handicap chase at Leicester (2m) in February off a mark of 96 but had previously gained his third success of the season when beating Templier two- and-three-quarter lengths in a handicap chase at Fakenham (2m ½f) earlier in the month off a mark of 92.

Trainer says

He is coming back from a winter break but he has done really well this season and won three times. He is a good ground horse and he will run in the summer but there are more races to be won with him.

A 105-rated hurdler. Finished third, beaten two lengths, to Kepagge in a handicap hurdle at Ffos Las (2m 4f) on Sunday.

Trainer says

She ran at Ffos Las on Sunday and ran on really well to finish third over two and a half miles and we will now step her back up in trip. She is a lovely athletic mare and she will do better when she goes over fences next season but there is no reason she can’t win over hurdles before she goes chasing. She goes on decent ground and wouldn’t want it too soft and she will run in three weeks’ time and step up to three miles and she should have a good chance. From May 1, we will run her in a mares’ novice chases.

A 109-rated chaser and 96-rated hurdler. Finished fifth, beaten 16½ lengths, to Chives in a handicap hurdle at Worcester (2m 4f) in October of a mark of 98.

Trainer says

Debden Bank has had a long winter break and is back in working now. He is a horse that is going to run through the summer and if we can get him back in form he can win a few more races for us. He loves good ground and he will mainly go chasing.

Trainer says

He is consistent horse who is rarely out of the first three. He has just had a wind operation and, hopefully, that will improve him and help him win more races.

He is a nice chasing type who won his first race over fences and has been placed since. He is a bit of a late developer and there is still a lot of improvement to come from him.

An 80-rated hurdler. Finished runner-up, beaten nine and a half lengths, to Moviddy in a Mares’ maiden hurdle at Lingfield (2m 3 ½f) in February.

Trainer says

She is a lovely mare who had some decent enough bumper form and ran a really encouraging first race over hurdles. She finished off really strongly to finish second and we will probably step her up in trip. Hopefully, it won’t be too long before she is winning.

A 130-rated chaser and 108-rated hurdler. Finished fourth, beaten 24 lengths, to Ballintubber Boy in a handicap hurdle at Market Rasen (2m 7f) in February off a mark of 111.

Trainer says

He is getting on a bit as an 11-year-old but he has been running well recently. I think now that the handicapper has started to drop him and given him a chance he can get his head in front again.

A 137-rated chaser. In fine form in the earlier part of the season and completed a four-timer when beating Champagne Gold six lengths at Cheltenham (2m 4f) in October off a mark of 132. Pulled in Listed Mares’ Chases in two outings since at Bangor (2m 1 ½f) in November and Huntingdon (2m 4f) in January.

Trainer says

She won five in a row and won at Cheltenham but has been disappointing the last twice. We have found a reason for that and she has had a nice winter break. She will probably come back and run in a valuable Mares’ race at the Cheltenham April meeting and she is going to be aimed at that.

Made a winning debut in a bumper at Worcester in September when beating Soldat Forte a neck and reasonable effort latest start in similar company at Southwell in November when third, beaten five and a half lengths, to Guard Duty.

Trainer says

He is another young horse and has been very immature but he did well to win his bumper first time out and has been placed since. He has had a winter break and is ready to run and he will probably have one more run in a bumper. He is quite an exciting horse to have in the yard as there is a lot more to come from him.

A 108-rated hurdler. Scored by four and a quarter lengths from Caspers Court when last seen out in a handicap hurdle at Exeter (2m 2 ½f) in October off a mark of 102.

Trainer says

He is a good solid handicapper and he is another who goes on decent ground. He will be running through the summer and is a good fun horse for his syndicate.

A 106-rated hurdler and chaser. Runner-up in her first two handicap hurdles this season at Warwick (2m 5f) in May and Stratford (2m 6f) in October and unseated rider at sixth in a Mares’ Handicap Chase at Worcester (2m 7f) in October.

Trainer says

She is a very tough mare and she did well over hurdles. She actually pulled a muscle badly when she had her first run over fences so you can put a line through that effort. She will probably run in the summer as she has had a lot of time off due to that injury. She is back doing fast work now and we will probably try her over fences again as those mares’ chases should be ideal for her. She stays three miles and she is tough and she is actually Back On The Lash’s half-sister.

An 85-rated chaser. Returned to winning form in a mares’ handicap chase at Market Rasen (2m 3f) last month when beating Imperial Pride four and a quarter lengths off a mark of 80.

Trainer says

She has done really well since joining us and won at Taunton and was a good winner last time at Market Rasen. She will probably go to Taunton on March 20 as there is a Mares’ Handicap Chase for her there.

A 118-rated hurdler and 107-rated chaser. Finished sixth, beaten 19½ lengths, to Forward Plan in a handicap chase at Southwell (3m 2f) in January on latest start off a mark of 112.

Trainer says

He had a really good season when he won three in a row and then he missed a year due to an injury. He has come back this time and hasn’t really come good yet and he could come good in the spring. He scared himself a bit of fences and we might give him a run over hurdles but he will back in form soon.

He won his bumper and is only a four-year-old who has some growing to do. We have finished him for the season and he will come back in next season. He might have one more run in a bumper and then we will go novice hurdling but he is a nice young exciting prospect to have in the yard.

He is another nice young horse who finished second in his bumper last time. He is crying out for a trip and will improve when going over hurdles and being stepped up. He will definitely be a nice young horse to follow.

Scored by nine lengths from Gaye Legacy on his debut in a bumper at Fakenham in November when trained by Roger Varian and creditable effort on first run for the stable when third, beaten two and a half lengths, to Aslukgoes in a similar event at Newbury in February.

Trainer says

I think is a very talented young horse and he won his bumper for Roger Varian and then Andrew Jones bought him and sent him to me. He pulled way too hard in a Listed bumper at Newbury and if had settled I think he would have won. He has lot of ability and to have pulled very hard and not being beaten far he must be good. He could go for the Champion bumper at Cheltenham or Aintree - we don’t know which one yet.

Trainer says

He is a nice horse who probably hasn’t shown his true potential as he ran in the Champion Bumper last season and had won a bumper. He won first time over hurdles and has been unlucky since and was second at Leicester and just got caught at Market Rasen. He has had a break now and he will run at the end of the season. He is a proper chasing type and will be a different horse when he goes chasing next season.

An 88-rated hurdler. Most recent creditable effort when third, beaten two and a quarter lengths, to Finalshot in a handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter (2m) in September off a mark of 92.

Trainer says

He’s a tough little horse and in the right grade he is very competitive. He likes good ground and there is no reason he can’t be winning again in the summer.

A 133-chaser. Pulled up on his belated reappearance in a handicap chase at Wetherby (1m 7f) in January off a mark of 135.

Trainer says

He is a lovely horse and is in real good form. He missed a year through injury and disappointed on his return but he burst a blood vessel that day and it was at that time when we had a freeze and some horses can’t cope with that. He has had a break and he might run at Newbury in a Veteran’s Chase.

Rated 67 on the Flat and made a successful debut over hurdles in a Mares’ event at Catterick (1m 7½f) in February when beating Pretending three and a quarter lengths.

Trainer says

She is a real exciting mare. We gave her a couple of runs on the Flat and she ran really well. She stepped up again when running over hurdles and she was very keen but Brian (Hughes) gave her a lovely ride and I was really impressed with her. She pulled away after jumping the last and she will probably find a similar sort of race. There is a Listed race at Cheltenham in April and it would be nice if she could get some black type.
