Trainer says

She made a winning start at Galway last year and I was happy to leave it at that with her for the season. She’s very similar to her brother Earl Of Tyrone in that she’s a stayer. The plan is to start her off in the Noblesse Stakes at Cork. There should be plenty of improvement in her.

Trainer says

Erosandpsyche had a really good first year for us in 2022 and finished up second in the Flying Five Stakes at the Curragh, but he picked up an injury last year and missed plenty of time. He has recovered well in pre-training and came back to us here in March. It’s great to have him back and he has been training well since. Five furlongs seems to be his best trip. We might not see him until Irish Derby weekend, but it’ll be great to get him back on track.

She was bought for Moyglare Stud and is a filly we really like. She was progressing with each run last season and looks like one that can come forward again. A mile-and-a-quarter to a mile-and-a-half should suit her well. She’ll be one that should thrive in the second half of the season. The hope is that we can win a stakes race with her this year and maybe even drive on into next year with her, but we’ll see how she progresses. We are liking what we are seeing from her at home.

She’s a lovely filly that joined us from David Marnane late last year. She was a consistent filly for him and seemed to enjoy five furlongs on a flat track. We didn’t want to start her off on soft ground, so we’ll wait for better ground before we send her racing. The obvious aim is to win a stakes race with her.

Trainer says

She’s unbeaten in two starts and hasn’t done anything wrong. Her two wins came quite close together, and as she is a tall, light-framed filly that we didn’t want to over-race as a three-year-old, we were happy to ease back off her and leave her at that for the year. She has filled her frame and is training well, so she might start off in a winner’s race at Tipperary next week. Longer term, we are looking at the Ridgewood Pearl Stakes at the Curragh on Guineas weekend. She should be ground-versatile, and I think she’ll stay a mile-and-a-quarter. She’s a talented filly.

I was very happy with how she did it in the Guineas trial at Leopardstown. She had two good wins last year, and it’s always great to see them progress and back it up at three. She’s a classy filly. Every time she has gone to the races, she has done what we’d hope she’d do. I’d say the Irish 1,000 Guineas is the one for her, and I think she’ll go straight there. I think she won in spite of the ground at Leopardstown. When she beat Opera Singer the ground was pretty quick, so I’d say she is quite ground-versatile.

Trainer says

He’s a commentator’s dream! He had a nice introduction at Dundalk last month. The plan was to run at Gowran Park this week but it has been postponed for now, so we’ll get him out as soon as we can in a suitable maiden. He’s a nice horse that should progress as the season goes on.

She’s a homebred filly owned by Craig Bennett. She worked very well last year and has done well over the winter, so she’s one we are looking forward to seeing on the track. She’ll start off in a maiden in early June, I’d say.

He just raced too freely on the ground in the Ballysax, and that combined with his penalty and the longer trip just told on him in the straight. We have taken the view that he is a strong traveller and that a drop in distance should suit him, so we’re aiming him at the Irish 2,000 Guineas. That will guide us as to what direction to take for the rest of the season. He seems ground-versatile, but just might not want it very heavy.

She’s a lovely filly that will start off in a mile-and-a-quarter maiden around mid-summer. She is a full-sister to four stakes horses that all enjoyed middle distances and progressed from three to four, so we have a good idea of what to expect from her.

She joined us last autumn after having one promising run for Rebecca Menzies. We entered her in the Irish Oaks as the race closed the day after we bought her, but now that I know her better I don’t think she’ll be one for that sort of trip in the middle part of her three-year-old season. She will prefer better ground and a mile should suit her. She’ll hopefully be ready to start early next month, ground permitting.

Trainer says

The late Lady O’Reilly asked me to buy her a yearling and after looking at a bunch of fillies together at Tattersalls October Book 2, this was the filly we bought. She was nearly ready to run last year but had a little setback that held her up. She had a debut nice run at Cork and came out of it well, so it was great to see her win at Dundalk. Her half-sister Just A Spark has won six races on the all-weather in the UK and this one seemed to be well suited by the surface at Dundalk. She has plenty of boot and should progress plenty. I have the Polonia Stakes at Cork on May 10th in mind for her next.

Trainer says

He was a super horse for us last season. He did all his winning in a five-week window, which was fair going. We were worried the test of seven furlongs on heavy ground at Naas might be a bit too much for him, but he’s very tough and, in fairness to him, he battled it out very well. I think six furlongs on quicker ground is what he wants. He is well able to accelerate off a strong pace. There is a good programme there for three-year-old sprinters and we’ll keep him to his own age as best we can.

She’s a lovely filly that might not start until mid-summer and is very much a middle-distance type. She shouldn’t have too much trouble winning a maiden and whatever she does as a three-year-old, she’ll be better as a four-year-old.

He had a very bright start to his juvenile campaign but picked up an injury at Royal Ascot that ruled him out of the rest of the season. He has been training very well through the winter and we see him as a sprinter. The plan at the minute is to potentially start off in the Lacken Stakes at Naas and work him towards the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot if we can.

Trainer says

One Look made a great start by winning the Goffs Million on debut last year. I decided not to run her again after that as I wanted to give her at least a month to recover after such a big effort on debut, and by the time you do that the races you’d have liked to have run her in have come and gone, so that made it simple enough. I wanted to start her in a winners’ race this year just to give her some more education before tackling stakes company, and that race at Cork fit in very well. She did what we hoped she’d do and there will be loads of improvement in her from that. My thinking is that she won’t go to the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket. She’ll run in either the Athasi Stakes or more likely the Cornelscourt Stakes at Leopardstown, with a view to going to the Irish 1,000 Guineas from there. I think she wants faster ground than she’s had so far. She shows a lot of acceleration and is light on her feet, so I’d be surprised if she doesn’t enjoy faster ground. I think she’ll have no problem with a mile and will likely stay a mile-and-a-quarter.

He was ready to start off at the backend of last season and had a nice run at Dundalk. He is bred to stay on both sides of his pedigree. Once the ground dries out, he’ll be ready to start off in a mile-and-a-half maiden. He’s an honest horse that will stay well, and might even end up staying two miles.

She joined us last year from Joe Murphy. She’s been training nicely, but it might be mid-season until we run her. She’s a big filly that should be suited by a mile-and-a-quarter. She should win her maiden, and can hopefully drive on into black type. As a physical type, you’d expect her to be even better as a four-year-old.

Porters Place looked really exciting when winning what has worked out to be a strong maiden at the Curragh last year. Unfortunately, she has had a minor setback that will rule her out of the Classics, which is really disappointing. I’d say it’ll be the autumn before we see her back on the track again. All we can do is hope to get a couple of runs into her this season and look forward to her four-year-old campaign. She has lots of class. I have full faith in her and think she’ll be worth the wait.

He won well on debut at the Curragh last month. We hadn’t a whole pile of work done with him before he ran, just a couple of breezes, so it was great to see him do what he did. He’s a well bred horse that has a bit of class. A race like the Tetrarch Stakes would look an obvious next step for him, and that will guide us as to his programme thereafter. He’s a light-framed, athletic horse that is light on his feet, so better ground should suit him.

She’s an exciting filly. I thought she was impressive at Galway, as she did everything back to front and still won at a track that isn’t easy to make a winning debut around. We decided not to run her again as a two-year-old, and I was keen to give her a run outside of stakes company to start her off this season, so it was great to see her do what she did at Naas - I thought she was impressive. I had intended to run her in a winner’s race at Gowran Park this week, but it has been postponed. She won’t go to the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket and will instead be aimed at the Irish 1,000 Guineas. I’d like to get another run into her before then if I can, but I wouldn’t be upset if we go straight there either. I think she’ll stay a mile-and-a-quarter in time.
