Ordinarily he is trained by Pierre Fertillet who already gave him to me last year to take to Pau. He is a horse that regularly runs in the tierce handicaps, and he has run a lot this season. He loves Pau but he has gone up in the handicap mark as he won at Auteuil, but I am hoping that he can run well here, despite going up by 2 kilos. There are several chases over 2m4f that he could run in.

He is more competitive over fences. He didn’t run for a year because he had a little issue, but it wasn’t anything of too much concern. His reappearance at Angers was very good and the other day he was just a bit too keen.

I think he has a lot of talent. His debut in the Achille Fould was very good. He then ran badly on his second start, but he had a valid excuse because he scoped very dirty afterwards. We gave him a bit of time off after that and now I can’t wait to see him, as for me, he is the perfect horse for Pau. He loves going right-handed and I really have a feeling that he will do well here. As a four-year-old, there are quite a few races he can run here, so it’s very exciting. And he could even go chasing if all goes well.

He was a little unlucky at the beginning of the meeting last year, but he then delivered some very good performances. He is an interesting horse to follow. He will run in a cross-country chase on the 19th. He knows Pau well and can still run in the 5-y-o races.

He was ill last year, which explained his rather disappointing performances. The year before that he had won a chase here at Pau and we are hoping to get him back to that level. I think he is going to run next week. He will run in a cross-country chase for five and six-year-olds.

He will be running in the handicaps for older horses. He has run twice for me and both times he ran well. Both times he had to carry top weight. He is a horse who likes to go left-handed so that is the reason why he is coming to Cagnes. He won in heavy ground at Pau, so maybe that will be his preference.

He is running on Monday in the Prix Aspin. He is very consistent. He is a nice horse to follow. He was the runner-up in a chase over 2m3f at Meslay-Du-Maine and will be running in the four-year-old handicap chases at Cagnes. He can go in any ground, he is a really easy horse.

This is a lovely horse; he has such a nice character. He will make his mid-seasonal reappearance this Saturday in the Prix de Lastours. He didn’t do that well last winter but I feel he is in really good form now and that the issues he has had in the past have been solved. There are a couple of horses in this race on Saturday that might get in the way, seeing that it is a reappearance for him, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see him finish in the first five. He then has a couple of handicaps he can run in. He is very versatile.

Me Before You was unplaced in the Prix Ucello II on Friday, where she made her debut over fences. She has won over hurdles and was making her mid-seasonal reappearance at Angers. For her I want the ground to be good.

Made a very encouraging debut over hurdles at Auteuil in April, and then didn’t run until October. Was not beaten far on his penultimate start at Angers where he was giving the winner 4 kilos before winning the Prix Ucello II on Friday, the opening day of Cagnes.

He won the Prix Ucello II on Friday. He was only just beaten at Angers when he finished second. He had made his debut in the Prix Wild Monarch at Auteuil where he finished fourth and then he was given a break as he still needed to mature a bit. I think he prefers running over fences than hurdles. He has run in heavy ground at Auteuil and the other day it was good, so I think he can go in any ground.

I really like this horse. He was schooled at the beginning of the year but we thought he was still a bit green, so he was turned out again. He was also a bit complicated at the beginning of the season but now that he has grown stronger, he is much easier to handle. He is very powerful when he jumps. I really like him.

He is a brother of the Edouard Monfort trained Plegastell who had won a listed and finished fifth in the Group 1 Prix Marcel Boussac. I think we might run him on the 19th of December, but I fear he might then go on to run in claiming races. He jumps well, but I doubt he will be good enough to go with the three-year-olds that are here.

He ran in all the good races at Pau last year. He ran in the Grand Steeple Chase de Pau, which turned out to be a very good race. I have to admit, his prep for Pau hasn’t gone quite as planned. He fell the last time out and I had to give him a bit more time to recover. I’m not sure if he will be ready for his first start on the 12th. It’s got to be said that he loves Pau, he loves heavy ground and I’m thinking maybe he will find his enthusiasm again. Maybe Pau will give him a boost.

He made his debut over the cross-country fences last year. This Saturday, he is going to take on some of the better cross-country specialists and this will show us if he is in that league or not. If he can go with them, his main target will be the main cross-country event and if not, then he will go for some of the smaller races. This first run is a bit of fact-finding mission. The horse is in great form and happy to be in Pau.
