Verdict

Tarbat Ness continued his progression when securing a fifth career victory at Newcastle last month. The seven-year-old isn't easily dismissed in his current vein of form, but a 7lb higher mark does demand another career best. With that in mind, the down-in-grade HATYSA is slightly more appealing after hitting the frame in a class 3 at Newcastle recently. Appier and Barenboim are other live threats.
