Vincenzo Peruggia showed ability when third on his introduction at Hamilton last month and is likely to appreciate this step up in trip, so he is considered. However, a chance can be taken on the Archie Watson-trained CIRCLE OF MAGIC. The son of Australia was outpaced but kept on well enough to finish fourth on his debut at Newbury and this extra furlong could eke out the improvement required to score. Newcomer Act Of Honor warrants a market check.

COME ON OVER improved on his debut fifth to finish third at Carlisle last month and is likely to have lots of improvement in him. Richard Fahey's colt could put that experience to good use and looks the one to beat. Mission Classified has shown plenty of ability in both of his starts to date and is one to take seriously, while Mo Of Cairo is another to keep an eye on.

CHEERLEADER is bidding to complete the hat-trick after scoring in good style at Catterick in May and makes just her sixth start in a handicap. The daughter of Dandy Man has proven to be a different proposition since switching to the Tina Jackson yard and can continue her upward trajectory. Lady Roxby had Brazilian Belle (fourth) behind when filling the runner-up spot at Thirsk last time and is expected to confirm that form. Of the remainder, Atomic Mass makes the most appeal.

A welcome addition to racing on the Westwood, this inaugural contest can go to the William Haggas-trained CANDLEFORD. Although well beaten in the Hardwicke on his seasonal return last month, he is already a dual winner at this level and should prove too strong for the likes of Karmology, who merits respect in receipt of the mares' allowance. Official ratings suggest Teumessias Fox can be involved, for all that he needs to bounce back from a below-par effort in the Duke Of Edinburgh.

TAKE A BREATH was in command when defeating Blast The Dream (third) at Sandown latest. The daughter of Bated Breath was hit with a 5lb rise for that success but she remains open to improvement and may well take another step forward. Previous C&D winner Zapphire was far from disgraced in a 0-90 contest at Hamilton recently and can be expected to go well in these calmer waters.

RISEN AGAIN won easily at Yarmouth on his penultimate start before a respectable fourth at the same track last time out and Alice Haynes' charge is taken to strike again with Paddy Bradley taking over in the saddle. Runner-up twice here this season, Dandy's Angel must enter calculations, as well as Squeezebox, who was a creditable fourth over track and trip most recently.

The key to this race could be the recent clash at Doncaster between TOOTA (second) and Dolly's Delight (third), with preference for the former on this occasion off the same mark. She is narrowly preferred to Almutraf, who was a revelation on her first start for new connections when scoring at Newcastle recently off 3lb lower. Others to note include Campani, I Can Boogy and Mavetheforcebewivu.
