Heart Of A Fighter showed plenty of ability when filling the runner-up spot in two consecutive races, but was beaten out of sight last time. SUNSHINE GLITTER is another who has to put a poor last effort behind her, but that race was over a route trip, and the return to sprinting could prove vital here. Be On Top has had a three-month break from the races, but put in a fast workout last month and should be fit enough to challenge.

If Manish Water can reproduce the performance of his second last time, he could prove tough to beat, while Honest Victor will have to put a poor latest effort behind him if he is to make an impact. SUPERSPEED lived up to his name here last time, and Richard Caudello's colt looks to be progressing well enough to challenge for his maiden US victory.

GOLDEN GLACKEN had El Duque over six lengths adrift when successful over this track and trip on his penultimate start, and should be able to confirm the placings. Trois Villes had Victory Walk behind here last time and Barry Croft's string are in fine form at present, while Hot Weather reportedly bled on his last start, and has chances if returning to form here.

This could turn into a match between Universal Story, who has done nothing wrong in his three career starts, and RIOT ALERT. Rodolfo Garcia's colt just pipped Universal Story when they met here last month, and he may be capable of doing so again. El Quixote didn't appear to handle the sloppy conditions on his last start and he may be better here providing the rain stays away.

Blackjack Bob had Sami's Royal Heir behind at this track and trip last time, and as he's better drawn here, he should confirm the placings. After racking up five straight second places, NOTORIOUS NAVY may have the opportunity to go one better here, on his first start for Ronald Spatz.

Gold Success came out on top of a sustained duel over 6 1/2f here last time and is expected to relish this return to a route. Frolic For Joy came wide on his last run and a better trip will see him finish closer this time, but NOTGONAGETEMTODAY edged out Gold Success over this C&D Aug 20 and is taken to confirm the form.

PINE LOVE possesses plenty of early pace and with the track suiting front runners at present, he could be hard to catch. Amsterdam Ave. is a solid sort and finished a good second here latest, while Iquitos came 6 1/2l clear of his field Sep 17 and must be considered.

MOST CHARMING came wide to run on for second in a similar race last time and will not have to improve greatly to take this event. Cajulena scored in good style over this C&D on her last outing and appears the obvious danger, while Heavenly Reward To finished behind the selection here Sep 9, but is capable of narrowing the gap.

ASHLEE'S LADY drops in class after a satisfactory debut and it's worth taking a chance that she can repel the challenges of Perfect Note, who also comes down the claiming ladder, and Pyrite C.U., who finished a fair third at this level Sep 9, her first run since July.
