QUEEN'S MAGIC appeared to be ridden to get the extended 2m4f when fourth at Cheltenham and a return to more forceful tactics over a shorter distance can see Neil Mulholland's mare get off the mark over timber. This looks a nice opportunity for SEVARANO to get off the mark over hurdles at the third time of asking. This looks a shrewd bit of placing by Venetia Williams, whose CLOUDY GLEN is allowed to line up off the same mark as when bolting up under Hugh Nugent in a conditional jockeys' race at Haydock just over a week ago. He is entitled to improve for that first outing since April and will be strongly fancied to complete the double. Mead Vale arrives on the back of two solid performances at Taunton and he is likely to give another good account. William B is worth a market check ahead of his first start for Tim Vaughan, having won twice during his time with Gordon Elliott.
