Opium des Pictons could go well on his debut but Haunted House is looking exposed and could be flattered by his form figures. Northaw Lad, who has some good efforts to his name, makes more appeal but it's worth siding with the lightly-raced HONEST ABE, who was a decent third at Market Rasen last time on just his second start and is open to further improvement.

Regal Term was well beaten over 2m 4f here last time but can be given a chance on his two previous efforts while bumper winner Back Among Friends has had problems with his jumping but could go close if sorting it out. However, preference is for TURNBERRY BAY who ran well last month on his debut in a Uttoxeter bumper and is sure to be well prepared for his hurdling debut.

If Denarius Secundus lines up today after his exertions at Plumpton yesterday, he can be given a chance while Mill Bank is in form but now 15lb higher than his last winning mark. However, this could go to Royale Acadou, who has run well off this mark recently and has been running in much better company of late.

Captain Aubrey was going well when falling at the fifth at Lingfield and can be given another chance but Wayward Melody has made slow progress and has something to find here. ISOTOP was off the course for nearly two years and has struggled since returning this January but returned to form with a close second to Vingis Park at Taunton latest and can go one better now.

The Hairy Lemon and Bonny Grey are running well but might have too much weight now but Dorneys Well can be given a chance despite rising 9lb in the handicap for his Exeter win. BILLYANDI was well beaten last time at Sandown but that was in a Grade 3 hurdle. He's only 4lb higher than when beating Rojabaa at Haydock before that and is weighted to take this.

Kausse de Thaix is well weighted on his winning form but has looked out of sorts since the start of the year while Lingfield winner Happy Shopper needs to improve on his last two efforts. They could be playing for places, however, if SISSINGHURST STORM reproduces the form that saw her romp home over C&D this month. Another 8lb here shouldn't stop her of that evidence.

Ballykelly and Solid As A Rock have both won a bumper and a point-to-point. Although beaten last time out, they hold sound claims here. However, it's worth taking a chance on newcomer STAR AWARD, related to Hardy Eustace and hailing from a stable with an excellent record in similar contests.
