KEEP RIGHT ON has made the frame in both of his previous outings and that includes when a close third at Goodwood late last month. A reproduction of that performance would make him very hard to beat today. Rival was a beaten favourite at Haydock last time but it is far too soon to be writing him off as he displayed plenty of promise on his debut. Others to note are Aquaman and Dubai Honour.

PRAISE OF SHADOWS struggled in a Group 3 at York last time but he had previously won impressively on his debut over C&D and an opening mark of 82 appears to be fair. Mutazawwed hit the crossbar at Hamilton two starts ago and he may improve for this step up in trip. The shortlist is completed by Blowing Wind, Bonnyrigg and Paws For Thought.

WILD HERO got off the mark at Leicester two starts ago and he only found one too good on his return to handicap company last time. Andrew Balding's gelding has to prove himself over this trip but he looks likely to stay and remains on a workable mark. Rosa Gold has to be of some interest following a hat-trick of victories in recent months, although she is 10lb higher than when last seen. Alibaba edges out Surrey Pride to be the pick of the remainder.

Last year's winner SIR MAXIMILIAN has been a terrific servant to connections over the years and is 2lb lower than his last winning mark, having run with credit on a few occasions this season. Redrosezorro arrives in search of a hat-trick following his recent successes at Catterick and he is likely to enter calculations along with Endowed, who finished fourth over this distance at Haydock last Friday.

MONTANARI contested some decent races on both his starts as a juvenile, finishing down the field in the Chesham at Royal Ascot before finishing second to a useful performer in a Goodwood maiden, and the step up to 1m2f promises to bring about further progression. Baryshnikov has been knocking on the door on his most recent starts and is respected along with Lumination, who has been gelded ahead of his return to the track.

Heart Of Soul is respected following recent wins at Hamilton and over this course and distance, but stall seven could make things tricky for this forward-going gelding so preference is for another track winner in INFRASTRUCTURE. Martyn Meade's charge has won and placed in two previous visits here and, facing his easiest task for a while, he ought to go very close. Dark Lochnagar also brings course-winning form to the table and ran well enough off this mark at Haydock latest to suggest that he can be competitive.

Model Guest has struck the crossbar on her last three starts and is likely to give another good account, while recent course (6f) third Penwortham merits shortlist inclusion despite being drawn widest of all in 14. However, sporting the same colours, PACINO edges the vote. Richard Fahey's charge has been running well in defeat, including when sixth over an extended 1m2f here latest, and dropping back in distance gives him a big chance.
