ICONIC QUEEN improved on her third at Kempton when going down by a head at Goodwood and she is well drawn in stall three to put her experience to good use. Fragrant Storm is a half-sister to the stable's Nayef Road and has to enter the reckoning on her racecourse debut, while Amasova, who finished second on debut at Haydock, and Morjhana can fight it out for the minor honours.

WRENTHORPE improved on his return to action when a neck second to the reopposing Canford Bay at Catterick last month and Bryan Smart's gelding can reverse that form as he boasts a much better draw in stall two. Mutabaahy didn't get a clear run over C&D last Friday and is worth another chance, while Seen The Lyte and Triple Spear complete the shortlist.

REVICH overcame a slow start to win nicely at the course last Friday and the extra furlong under a 5lb penalty is unlikely to pose any concern to Richard Spencer's gelding. Gabrial The Wire was last seen finishing fourth to Judicial in Listed company here over 6f and is a fascinating contender stepping up in trip, while others to note include Tadleel, who has placed on his last couple of starts at York, and King Ragnar.

SPANISH MISSION only found one too good in the Group 3 Henry II Stakes two starts ago and he was not disgraced in the Goodwood Cup last time. With his sights lowered this evening, the son of Noble Mission could take plenty of beating. Selino was almost brought down last time at Newbury and that performance can be forgiven. He was progressive prior to that and should not be written off. All of the remainder have claims but Reshoun is arguably the pick of them.

SPRIGHT got off the mark over 6f at York two starts ago and she was far from disgraced when third in a conditions race at Goodwood late last month. A reproduction of either of those efforts would make her very hard to beat this evening. Mariance remains a maiden but she is more than capable of making the frame, while Ventura Vision is the pick of the remainder.

RECON MISSION lost all chance at the start at Goodwood when last seen but his previous effort at Newbury was very encouraging and Tony Carroll's colt can be given another chance this evening. Barbill was well held in the Stewards' Cup last time but his previous defeat of Kimifive at Haydock is very good form. Rayong returned to winning ways on his latest outing and he may still have more to offer, while Brad The Brief completes the shortlist.

LIHOU has winning C&D form in the book and lost little in defeat when runner-up over 5f here last week. David Evans' charge runs off the same mark tonight and is officially 1lb well in, as well as being nicely drawn on the inside rail. Roundhay Park finished fourth behind subsequent Great St Wilfrid winner Staxton when fourth at Ripon last time and has solid place claims, while Betsey Trotter, a fellow grade dropper, is another to note.

BOSSIPOP has been dropped 1lb for finishing fourth over 5f here last week and is expected to give a good account from stall three. Any money for Sommer Katze on his seasonal return would be notable as he landed back-to-back novice races last year and starts life in handicaps on a workable mark. The pick of the remainder may be Red Pike, who is rated only 2lb higher than when striking at Catterick last month.

OTTONIAN was having his first start since 2017 and debuting for a new stable when fourth at York recently. Perfectly entitled to need that outing, open to improvement over staying distances and considered on an exploitable mark, Donald McCain's six-year-old is an interesting each-way contender this evening. Champagne Terri will appreciate stepping up from 1m6f and has claims, likewise course winner Future Investment.
