ECHO BEACH took a big step forwards on his second start when only finding one too good at Haydock earlier in the month and that form gives him a big chance this afternoon. Mere Green has been highly tried in her short career to date and she should not be underestimated in this company, while Silvestris and Discomatic are others who merit places on the shortlist.

CAPE PALACE was a hugely impressive eight-length winner on his racecourse debut at Newcastle in August last year. He was then a beaten favourite when third in a conditions race at Newbury when last seen but the two rivals who beat him on that occasion are now rated 99 and 97. The son of Golden Horn should take plenty of stopping despite the lengthy layoff. Seasony has also been off the track for a long time but he won his sole start as a juvenile and he edges out Fox Duty Free and Lydford to be the pick of the remainder.

ALPINE MISTRAL racked up a four-timer prior to her narrow defeat at Haydock last time and that form was boosted when the winner won again on her next outing. With that in mind, this in-form daughter of Gale Force Ten could be very hard to beat off just a 2lb higher mark. Lady Sansa is a consistent and unexposed filly who has made the frame in a pair of competitive handicaps already and she may have more to offer today. The shortlist is completed by Embrace The Moment and Set In Stone.

Kool Moe Dee made it back-to-back victories at Bath last time, but a 6lb hike makes this hat-trick bid much tougher. Therefore preference is for HARMONY LIL, who got the better of the front-running Sir Benedict in the dying strides over course and distance earlier this month and that pair can fight it out once again, with the selection representing a handler who does well here. Selected was a runner-up on the same card and also makes appeal of appeal off only a 1lb higher mark.

BABY STEPS has made the podium here the last twice and David Loughnane's four-year-old appears set for another big performance off his current rating. Redrosezorro was slightly disappointing over track and trip last time, but was a dual winner before that and can't be ignored, while Battered's mark continues to fall and he could make amends to supporters who sent him off favourite at Goodwood last month.

SNOW OCEAN arrives having followed up a C&D victory when scoring at Goodwood on Wednesday and the four-year-old makes plenty of appeal despite carrying a 5lb penalty for his most recent success. Heart Of Soul was denied the hat-trick when runner-up here earlier in the month but he can enter the reckoning dropping in trip, while Gabrial The One and Chartered appeal most of the remainder.

MANCINI was just denied over C&D earlier in the month when a neck third and the change of headgear to a first-time visor might just see the son of Nathaniel return to winning ways. Singing The Blues displayed a terrific attitude when making it four victories out of his last five tarts at Bath and he is likely to be in the mix once again, while others to note include Calculation and Edinburgh Castle.
