GAREYA (6) is from a respected trainer that can get one ready to strike on debut. Her dam won one race from only two starts and she is given the nod over FINLANDAISE (10), who has some good aspects to her profile and is from the Fabre powerhouse. She can make things interesting. CONTADOR (3) is from a top stable that is firing on all cylinders at the moment and is worth a market check. PALMYRA (7), was a 320,000 euros purchase and is another worth considering.

THE MAGPIE (1) has plenty of stamina having scored over slightly further at Marseille Borely in a maiden race late in April. She is preferred over NATORSPEED ESSEF (6), who has been third on his latest two outings. He can make life difficult for the selection. ARIOSTO (3), has leading claims each-way , he has been second in two of his four starts. MERVEILLE (2) is full of confidence after two recent wins in lower class events and heads the remainder.

COMME QUOI (5) has been threatening to score after back-to-back runner-up finishes, most recently in a Class 3 contest over 1800m at this venue in late April. With a leading jockey booked, he looks capable of going one better. DUBALAA (9) rates the main danger and can be forgiven a below-par latest effort, especially given his versatility across different surfaces. CALAS (4) arrives on the back of a win at ParisLongchamp in mid-April and should remain competitive, while HALF HALF (2), another last-time-out winner, deserves each-way consideration. PUMALIN PARK (3) also warrants a mention.

PARVAGE (7) was a creditable sixth in a competitive race last time, and with two solid placed runs before that in decent handicap events, he is given the verdict over the lightly raced PIYANGO (3), who arrives after two good placed runs and can be a threat to his rivals. BEAU ROMAN (5) is also worth considering and can have a say in the business end. LOVATREE PARIS (1) is consistent and can not be ruled out of the shake-up.

LADY SOFIA (10) was a decent second at Parislongchamp in late April on her most recent start behind FILIGRANE (6). On better weight terms she can reverse placings. Her main threat could be ARKEN (11), who was a decent fourth at Fonatainebleau in a handicap on April 20th when last seen. FILIGRANE (6) has acquitted herself well with a win two runs back and a recent fourth at Saint-Cloud 20 days ago on her latest start. She can be on the premises, as can ASTREA (9), who heads the rest.

QUIET SEA (8) has been consistent with four placed runs this year, the most recent over this track and trip when third in a maiden race. He can get a deserved success in this open handicap. DORIANELLO (2) could be the main danger to the selection. He has already won twice this year, and can be competitive having run well at this track before. MAKAROV (6) is one for the each-way backers to latch on to. CROWDFUNDING (1) makes up the shortlist.

7

16:35 Compiegne (France) (Class 4) (4YO plus)

LUNALA (2) was a pleasing third on her penultimate start at Parislongchamp earlier this month and can be forgiven for her latest start. She is marginal choice over TOKYO DREAMER (1), who was second over 1800m two runs back at Parislongchamp in a Class 3 handicap on May 3rd. INKIOSTRO (5) won on the only start this year at this track over slightly further late in March and warrants each-way consideration. MAGIC STARS (11) completes the shortlist.

DIWAN SENORA (5) arrives after a good second in a Class 4 handicap at Saint-Cloud in early April and she is the tentative selection ahead of ENORA SENORA (9), who ran a creditable race when fifth at Saint-Cloud last time and won before that over 2000m on April 17th. ORANGE VIF (1) is not the most consistent but has the talent to make his presence felt. ANONYME (7) has a good racing weight and can be competitive.

17:45 Compiegne (France) (Class 4) (4YO plus)

PLEASING (2) got off the mark in a Class 3 handicap at Parislongchamp on her latest start in early May. She is capable of following up. CHASUBLE (3) ran a better race last time when fifth late in April at Parislongchamp and can be a threat. SPLENDINO (4) was a pleasing second at Dieppe 9 days ago and can be involved at the business end. MY EDEN JAMES (6) is hit and miss but can make the frame at nice odds.
